Remember when we announced the debut of the premier BMW M2 Coupe? BMW is giving us another reason to talk about this powerful sports car.
A brand-new version of the M2 was recently spotted in Munich, and rumors are it’s an all-new BMW M2 CS. This new variant will most likely be powered by the twin-turbo inline six-cylinder S55 engine, which is used in the M3 and M4 models as well. It’s estimated that this engine will be modified to generate roughly 400 horsepower, which we’re confident will propel it to the top of its class. The M2 lineup is estimated to begin production in Summer 2017.
We encourage you to watch the brief spy footage below, which catches the upcoming BMW M2 CS, clad in camouflage, testing on the track. Be sure to reach out to the BMW of Devon staff for more information on this exciting 2018 model, as well as visit our showroom to see the current BMW M Series high-performance vehicles available.
