Have you ever had some impressive racetrack moves while driving your BMW M3 and wished you had been able to catch it all on camera?
Your wish has been granted, as the all-new BMW M4 and M3 performance cars will sport an infotainment-integrated GoPro camera app. This is the first time this has ever been done on a mass-production level.
This wi-fi-equipped camera is controlled by iDrive and a high-resolution screen, allowing the driver to take a snapshot of all the perfect moments. BMW and GoPro have also included six preset options for camera angles and capture times to minimize driver distraction. The sleep mode prolongs battery life by shutting off the camera between shots.
