The all-electric BMW i3 may be a striking combination of metallic, black and frozen blue accents, but it’s the greenest luxury car you’re going to see this side of the Mississippi — actually, make that anywhere. For goodness sake, the dashboard wood trim is made from eucalyptus!
The BMW not only cares about what the i3 is putting out — or make that not putting out, thanks to its zero-emissions powertrain — they also care about what they put into the car, ditching typical materials for more a more eco-friendly interior comprised of 25 percent renewable resources.
