Here at BMW of Devon we always thought that the 2014 X5 was an exciting car to drive but now those suspicions have been confirmed as we recently learned that a BMW X5 model has gone to the big screen in the latest film directed by Steven Knight. This new movie is called Locke. The entire 85 minute independent film takes place in the car with Hardy at the wheel. It centers around his life as a family man, with a shady past that is coming back to bite him.

Nobody is sure if money changed hands between the production company and our favorite automaker in order to get the X5 in the spotlight. Steven Knight simply commented that the SAV was a natural choice for its ability to hold three cameras and handle the rock terrain of some construction sites.
