The long awaited return of the BMW 8 Series (pictured above behind the M8 GTE) is set to happen on June 15th, one day before the legendary 24 Hour of Le Mans event kicks off. Since being teased a few months ago, the iconic 8 Series has been heavily anticipated by both BMW loyalists that fondly remember previous 8 Series models and auto enthusiasts that are looking for the latest installment of precision performance and soon to be iconic styling. From what we've seen of the upcoming 8 Series, it will sport a low to the ground, elongated build with sleek styling, thin lighting and the physical manifestation of athleticism. From what we know thus far, the new 8 Series will offer a choice of a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine or a 4.4-liter TwinPower turbocharged engine that produces 523-horsepower that's paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. xDrive all-wheel drive will be available, while features like adaptive suspension and four-wheel steering will come standard. For a few model years now, there's been much speculation surrounding the BMW Z4 and what it's upcoming model is going to have in store. First teased as the Z4 concept in 2017, the upcoming Z4 Roadster is sure to bring the flair and athleticism back to the Z4 that it was so well known for since its last model year in 2016. Although we don't yet have much concrete details on what the upcoming BMW Z4 will hold, we do know a few things about the concept vehicle that was teased and what you can possibly expect based off the concept and other recent BMW models! In the interior, we can expect to see the latest iDrive infotainment system, which in new models also features the use of the iDrive controller or the advanced gesture control feature for increased ease and convenience behind the wheel. Both the new 3 Series and 4 Series come equipped with a standard turbocharged engine that produces 181-horsepower, which is what's predicted that the upcoming Z4 will come equipped with, as well as an available 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged engine that produces 335-horsepower, although nothing is clear yet. Although the upcoming BMW 8 Series wasn't at the recent Geneva Auto Show this year, it was in Geneva. It's reported that the upcoming 8 Series was shown off to a select private group of viewers, who reported that it's about 90 percent identical to the concept version that was shown off last year. With a 90 percent likeness to the concept vehicle, you can expect to see the future of automobiles in front of your eyes, with a sharp and defined front end that almost resembles a trident, an elongated bonnet that leads the eyes up to the fluid and crisp cockpit and short back end, altogether culminating in a likeness that we've never seen before. Reports also suggest that the technology features have taken a front seat as well, with a large screen inside, although we don't know if it's infotainment or instrument cluster. Since it's a BMW model, you can expect a key focus to be on performance, providing you with complete athleticism and agility both at city speeds and on the highway. The BMW i3s is a redesigned variant of the BMW i3, offering a sportier and more powerful performance with 184-horsepower in the electric motor. The BMW i3s is a demonstration of sustainability, using recycled plastics and renewable raw materials throughout the interior of the vehicle, including unbleached eucalyptus wood.

While it's only a concept, the i Vision Dynamics concept gives us a look into the near future for what's to come from the i segment, which currently offers the i3 electric coupe and i8 electric sports car. The i Vision Dynamics is styled similarly to the i8, but with a longer four-door design. It's highlighted by a flowing roofline, short overhangs, and sleek aerodynamics, as well as the integration of glass into the body for a flush futuristic look. It is said that the i Vision Dynamics concept has a range of 373-miles and a top speed of 120 mph, with the ability to reach 0-60 mph in four seconds, making it sporty, luxurious and a pleasure to look at.
